Emma came and visited me in NJ this past weekend. We went out Friday night to Cornerstone and enjoyed the snow at a "Snow Party" on Saturday night. Being with her at the party Saturday night reminded me of Milford and some good times growing up. It was great to have her come and visit for a weekend and it was nice have a low key non-crazy weekend.
Emma said something that really touched me close to my heart while she was here. She said "it really feels like home here". With my recent destruction of my "home" with John and the disassemble (as number 5 would say) of my "home" growing up in Milford, NH, I didn't have a sense of belonging or real homeyness anywhere. I am so happy to have that now and look forward to going "home" every night.
