My bucket list is made up of a 101 tasks I have to complete in 1,001. The tasks include silly things, meaningful ones too, and things (if you know me) I have never been able to complete. Follow me as I actually finish something I have started, find real strength in my word and integrity in completing something I said I would do and maybe some of your own motivation to start tackling your own bucketlist. The 1,001 days ends October 15, 2012…

#24 Live by Myself for ONE Year

The countdown for one year begins today. I am all moved in and have spent my first night here alone. I am still trying to get used to all of the noises. The woman who lives below me has a kid who screams until 10pm at night and then the woman above me goes to work at 4:30am. SHE STARTS TO GET READY FOR WORK AT 3:30AM. I also live on the street side of the building so I can hear the trash men when they come really early. I am sure all of this is nothing a noise machine cannot handle. On the plus side I am on the second floor and the people below and above me insulate my apartment. I haven’t had to turn my heat on. It is GREAT!! I took a couple of pics. Notice the girlieness of the apartment. I bought a new couch from Bob’s Furniture and it is so great to have something new. I am the first person to sit on it and I don’t have to worry about all the gross things that could have happened on it or to it before. The bedroom furniture I got from Emma. It is a little lighter than I am used to (I usually pick dark wood) but I am really starting to like it. Once I am able to get rid of this last final little pile in my bedroom I will be able to figure out how I want to arrange it. Overall, considering how big the apartment is and what I pay for rent I think it was a good pick. I can deal with it for at least a year…maybe more, we shall see!
